EMMA SEELY - Saratoga, California
Head coach, general manager, horse trainer and longeur for Mt. Eden Vaulting Club.
Vaulting 40 years. 2004 American Vaulting Association Mentor of the Year. Coached the only American man (1998) and the only American woman (2006) to ever win the World Equestrian Games Gold Medals (Best in World!)

JESSICA BALLENGER - Saratoga, California
Coach Mt. Eden A-Team, longeur, horse trainer. Vaulting 20 years.
Coached 2008 National A-Team Freestyle Champions, 2009 National A-Team Overall Champions and 2009 CVI Kentucky International Team Champions

MAKAYLA CLYNE - Monte Sereno, California
13 years old. Vaulting 6 years.
I try to keep my heart, my mind and my body strong and focused on the path ahead of me, no matter how challenging physically or emotionally.

LIZZIE IOANNOU - Saratoga, California
14 years old. Vaulting 6 years.
I love spending time with my vaulting friends. It is a marvelous feeling when Iíve done my best.

KALYN GEISLER - Sunnyvale, California
21 years old. Vaulting 7 years. 21 years old. Vaulting 7 years.
Vaulting incorporates dance, gymnastics, performing, traveling, music, and horses, all my favorite things in one sport!

KENNY GEISLER - Sunnyvale, California
29 years old. Vaulting 25 years. 29 years old. Vaulting 25 years.
After 25 years of vaulting, I am now in a place where the art, beauty and athleticism are the priorities, far beyond any end result of medals or winning.

HEIDE ROTHWEILER - Santa Cruz, California
18 years old. Vaulting 7 years.
I am a second generation vaulter. My mom was a vaulter and is now a coach. I am proud to carry on the family tradition

TASHA THORNER - Aptos, California
14 years old. Vaulting 9 years.
Vaulting has taken me out of my small California town and introduced the world to me through the traveling I have done and the friendships that I have made.

ALLIE THRASHER - Redwood City, California
15 years old. Vaulting 7 years.
Vaulting teaches us to be dedicated and determined individuals. It is not merely a sport; it is a way of life.

OUR HORSES
Our horses are as important to the team as our vaulters. They support up to three vaulters at one time and their well-being is a major part of the efforts and expenses in this sport.

VERMEER - 7 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding. 16.3 hands tall
. He carried the National Bronze Woman Champion in his first year of competition. He is well loved and mischevious.

LANSON 16 - 10 year old Hanoverian gelding. 17.2 hands tall.
Lanson is the most experienced of all our horses. Born and raised in Germany, he has competed at the top levels of vaulting for the past five years.

SUNNY BOY - 10 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding. 17.2 hands tall.
Sunny Boy is in his fourth year of vaulting. He basks in the attention he gets from the vaulters. He will also do dressage.

OUR HOME
GARROD FARMS in Saratoga, California has been the home of the Mt. Eden Vaulting Club for the past 40 years. The facility offers riding lessons, boarding, trail rides, vaulting, summer camps, events and wine tasting at the Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards in the Saratoga foothills.
